I am Oluwagbenga Francis-Omiiye, I am a sculptor, painter, and a visual designer. As an artist I fulfill a purpose, which cannot be expressed through any other medium, as an artist I solve a problem within hearts and spaces, I communicate and establish my dominance through art. Art for me is a way of telling stories, expressing the inner thoughts in visual forms. My art is largely influenced by my environment, human forms and figures, I enjoy working in various medium from drawing to painting, to sculpture and design. As a sculptor, my works are largely influenced by human forms, posture and movement, I pick subject matters that can connect with aesthetes, and I create sculptural art works in relief and in the round, mostly using fiber, metals or mix media. While in painting I work on various subject matter from landscape to still life, picking themes that expresses human’s life style and the environment, culture, tradition, which are largely done in graphite, charcoal, acrylic, or oil paint. As an artist I continue to dig deep, studying other artist and their works, exploring various medium to create subjects matters that communicate aesthetics, and essence, an art piece that would express life
