Title: Memory Sculpture: Dein Zuhause in mir Size: 23 x 34 cm Year: 2019 This work “Memory Sculpture: Dein Zuhause in mir (2019, 23 x 34 cm) is located at the interface between Philosophy, Psychology, and the Fine Arts. More generally “Memory Sculptures” are performative compositions that translate psychic processes into direct physical actions on paper. Based on a symbol-language the displayed drawings act as thinking tools to design an internal architecture of sculptural memory. In this collection "Memory Sculpture Interactions" you can find a selection of works that are created through personal readings with artists. "Memory Sculpture: Dein Zuhause in mir" is based on the poem "In Das Nichts, Zurück Zu Dir" as read personally by the filmmaker and author Daniel Arora. His works "Memory Sculptures" (Gedächtnisskulpturen) presented at Saatchi Art are based on a symbol-language. The displayed drawings act as thinking tools to design an internal architecture of sculptural memory.
