Nettie Wakefield (b.1987) completed a foundation year at Chelsea College of Art and a BA in Art History at Leeds University. She then went on to complete Masters degree in Drawing at Wimbledon College of Art. Nettie has been working on independent projects since 2009. Nettie has recently been 1 of 75 out of 3,000 shortlisted for The prestigious Jerwood Drawing Prize 2013 exhibition will be shown at Jerwood Visual Arts Space from 11 September - 27 October 2013, before touring to venues across the UK in 2014. She had her debut solo show at the Rook and Raven Gallery from 23rd January- 6th February 2014 and will be taking part in a charity auction in June organised by Christies and The Old Vic with a supporting exhibition in Mayfair.
