Being new at University can be a stressful experience, and many hours spent studying can be quite isolating. In this picture I recorded my Manchester University bookcase in a pencil drawing. It helped to take my mind off my studies and helped me to relax as I drew. My room was very quiet and peaceful and I hope I have succeeded in conveying this feeling. The picture is very old and has developed one or two unwanted marks and a light crease across a top corner. But otherwise it is still fresh and is not smudged. It is not framed, allowing you to choose a frame of your choice.
