The Nautilus is also known as the "living fossil", because this living organism underwent seemingly no change in the last 500 million years. That is not to say that nautiluses have frozen in time, however: in fact, some scientists believe that nautiluses evolve faster than the human species - yet th...

Olga (b. 1987) has gravitated towards the paint brush ever since she was a kid growing up in small-town Russia, but had built careers in theoretical physics and the tech industry prior to finally committing to the arts full-time. These previous endeavours had her spend a near decade on the East coast of the United States, a summer in Santiago de Chile, and several years in Germany, before moving to Paris for a research job in 2016. Once in Paris, Olga took advantage of the city’s vibrant art scene and the proximity to some of the world’s best museums. Over the next few years, she used her after-work time to sketch, draw, and paint, while taking formal art classes to improve her technique. These days Olga lives and paints in her apartment in Paris XIII, which she is fortunate to share with a tough Baltimorean cat and a very spoiled whippet. *************** Stories are the building blocks of Olga's world. Sometimes a story grows out of an image that appears inside her head, and other times it is the images that follow the story. Olga's goal is to create art that is whimsical enough to encourage the viewers’ own storytelling, while sharing with them a glimpse into hers.
