"Orange Man" Drawing

My Name is Joshua, I am half English, half Bolivian. I was born and have lived in London most of my life. My interest in drawing increased from childhood. I studied for a BA degree in Illustration and graduated in September 2012. I think and feel that my work is influenced by the city life, my time abroad in other countries, the time alone when travelling, human features and feelings from the people who mean and meant alot to me. Music has always been the catalyst that has always defined my experiences, music further pushes me to draw.

I predominately use charcol pencil in my work, it gives me more freedom to express myself than a normal pencil would do. I also work in ink and watercolour, attempt to paint in acrylics, use of Photography and printmaking
I like to use as many techniques and mediums as possible.

I am not entirely sure in what direction my work and life is heading however I am always looking to expand my imagination and creativity and will continue to do so forever. I look forward to learning and experiencing new things that will help me grow as an Artist.
