About The Artwork

This drawing was a tribute to my dear sweet kitty Percy after he died. I am not even sure how the image came about but I was trying to express something about the infinite and his loving, sweet nature. The drawing is made of many, many fine lines and layers of pencil and colored pencil which is difficult to capture in the photograph. The colors are soft and lovely. The image size is 13 x 16 inches. But this drawing is beautifully framed with a 2 inch black mat in a 1.5 inch black wood frame under plexiglass. The framed size is 18 x 22 x.5 inches. "Percy" was accepted into the "Pencil and Charcoal" juried group show at the City of Santa Clarita's First Floor Gallery in 2022.
