Hi, I'm an artist from Barcelona. My drawings serve as a visual diary of everyday life. After spending twelve years in the UK, primarily in London, I relocated to Copenhagen in 2023, where I currently live and work. Through my intimate drawings, I capture the quiet beauty of ordinary moments, depicting scenes of friends hanging out, messy kitchens, laundry baskets, and fleeting gestures—experiences in which the familiar reveals something unexpectedly vibrant. A recurring theme in my work is the presence of the human figure, especially women, depicted in introspective, intimate interior spaces. The interiors and figures often appear distorted, as if the image has been pulled from a corner, showcasing elastic, angular curvatures and specific focal points. These contemporary domestic spaces feature hallucinatory, elongated visual elements, creating an atmosphere of unreality. The characters inhabit a certain dreamy state, as if trapped in a transition within spaces characterized by penetrating perspectives and subdued, pale, yet colorful tones. My drawings are deeply expressive, emphasising the emotional and psychological aspects of the characters, where vigorous, rough black lines mingle with delicate, subtle moments. I work from both observation and memory, paying attention to small details that allow each line to convey the warmth of a lived moment. I primarily use coloured pencils and acrylics. Thank you for visiting and engaging with my work! I have participated in several Group Shows in London, Berlin and Barcelona. He has also been selected for various art prizes and competitions, including the Barcelona Ynglada-Guillot Drawing Prize (2007), the London VIA Art Prize (2020), the London Trinity Buoy Drawing Prize in 2021 and 2023, and the Berlin Fresh Legs (2022) organised by the Gallery Heike Arndt. Additionally, he has exhibited in Newcastle, UK, at The Biscuit Factory and in Møn, Denmark, at Liza's Gallery (2025).
