About The Artwork

The artwork captures the essence of time with tangible depth. On the canvas, a woman wrapped in a blanket of blue hues becomes the epicenter of an intriguing visual narrative. Her figure, delicately outlined with watercolor and pencil, exudes an aura of mystery and stillness. The blanket that covers the woman, with its shades of blue evoking the vastness of the ocean and the sky, seems to be more than a simple cloak. It's as if it were a veil separating her from the outside world, a refuge against the ravages of time and the adversities of existence. However, the most intriguing aspect is the opening in the woman's torso, revealing a golden glow from within. This aperture suggests a doorway to the unknown, to a timeless realm where time dissolves into eternity. The golden tone emanating from within symbolizes transcendence, the light that illuminates even in the shadows of time. The female figure, with her serene posture, seems to simultaneously defy. Is she a guardian of time, a priestess of lost moments, or a traveler between temporal dimensions? Her presence invites reflection on the ephemeral nature of life and the permanence of the eternal. Together, this artwork is not only a visual testament to beauty but also a reminder of the fleeting nature of time and the transcendence of the human spirit in the face of temporal vicissitudes.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
