Born the 11th of May 1978 (Same day and month as the great Salvador Dali), in south london.Art is an integral part of my existence.I have always been attracted to portraying celebrities in my unique and unorthodox manner. I was fascinated by the classical images of Bob Marley who died on my birthday 11th May 1981 who was a freedom fighter whom I admired greatly. My 3D creations focus on the elements of the images that appeared striking to me throughout my childhood. Playing with a wide range of mixed media to feed the never-ending craving of my childlike magpie eye which is attracted to vibrant, colourful, shiny and translucent mediums to create magical works of art My childhood was the catalyst for my artistic creations and inspirations. My mothers sister, Aunty Cheryl was a very talented fantasy painter who created some beautiful pieces. I spent a lot of time watching her work and memories of those visions continue to linger in the corridors of my mind I believe art is an integral gift and cannot be taught. Both my aunt and I were fascinated by, and admired the works of Salvador Dali. He always captured my attention and imagination. I later discovered that Salvador Dali and share the same birthday. I realised my potential and for the first time felt a strong connection with destiny. This is what I was born to do.I have always been fascinated with synchronicity, similarities, coincidences and my own play on numerology which more often than not plays part in my pieces consciously and subconsciously. I would say I'm unorthodox in my approach to my work e.g. stacking gems and stones on top of each other like bricks to shape, sculptor and mould the elements of the specific piece. My creations stem from the depths of my soul and raw imagination, whether it is a sensory or visual experience. I aspire to hear audible gasps of amazement and want the visually impaired to be able to experience my art too with the sensory appeal that it provokesTo me, life is art in motion and everybody from all walks of life should have the pleasure of experiencing it. If I can take someone for just even a minute into a world beyond their imagination and open their eyes to art then I know I am fulfilling my destiny and will continue to create to my last breath..
