On lonely nights on the road, I found profound comfort in the moon, and I intentionally sought it out in the night sky. My art stems from the longing I felt on nights when the moon was hidden from view. In my work, I always paint a full, complete moon. This is my way of expressing the comfort and presence I desire, not only for myself but for everyone who looks to the night sky for solace.
