Seated Male Model Drawing

As a maker of art and images, I try to record and capture the essence of the the theme and subject before me. In this case, my subject was a seated nude male model, and I focused on his gaze, the intensity of his frontal position, as he sat looking directly at me, in a posture that demonstrated his strength, the contour lines of his body with emphasis for example on his hands and feet. I wanted to accentuate his pose and capture his modelling in black and white and gray to streamline the power of his pose and the silent drama of his maleness and personality.
