Self-portrait Drawing

I'm an elderly emerging artist, perhaps the oldest beginner among the emerging artists in the world. A few days ago I turned 59, but as an artist I am being "born" right before your eyes, here and now. Although I have been drawing almost all my conscious life, it was not a way for me to express myself, but rather a way to help me think, sort of the same as playing the violin was for Sherlock Holmes. So when I’d finish, I’d tear up and throw my drawings away. But last year, when life around me came to a standstill due to Covid-19 followed by the war that broke out in my country, I had to fulfill my urge for creativity mostly through painting. This time my family members convinced me to "save" my art. My paintings have never been exhibited, they are not part of any collection, they were never presented in galleries or even in social media. I don’t have a studio, models or fans. In fact, almost no one except my family members have seen my works or me while painting. I do not consider myself to belong to any direction, school or art style but I often get inspired from different artists and styles. You are among the first people to see my paintings, thus you can not form your opinion about the art I create based on my personality or background, experts’ or collectors’ opinions, painting provenance or market assessment, but only based on your personal impression and taste. And if anyone is interested in my opinion, I recommend buying them without hesitation.
