About The Artwork
Soil sediment inspires this piece. The light brown marks in this piece were made by burning the paper. The same effects would translate into the work's literal destructions depending on the length of time my tool touches the paper. The red and black are made with acrylic. Paper size is 8.5" x 12. 5", the art size is 6" x 10" The grey area is made with ashes which turn into ink. The materials I use to create my work have been collected over the years. My obsession with time expands to the materials used in doing the work.
