Some Number Drawing on Some Yellow Drawing

Artist quality graphite drawing on acid free 170gsm portrait A5 paper. The drawing is small in form, and is an exploration of mark making, line, form, process and colour. The yellow was applied with an oil stick, and then scraped back off which allowed the graphite to be more effective on the surface. I used previously done similar style drawings and layered them on top of the below paper using masking tape which gives the work an interesting fragmented look, combining multiple different drawings made at different times. I decided to keep the masking tape showing as I believe it highlights process, as well as it looking visually interesting and tactile.
