About The Artwork
This is artwork is a complex ink drawing on paper composed of thousands of lines created within curved spaces and black shapes which cover the whole space. Care and attention is given to the composition and to the creation of visual shape,tone and depth by changing the spacing within the endless parallel lines. This work is purely inspired by personal emotional states of mind and my love of drawing with black ink and using the natural color of the unpainted paper as the complementary color. This drawing is created on 170 gsm acid free art paper and the inks used are black pigment ink.It has a 1cm white border all around it. This is an unframed work 70x50 cm , and it can be fitted into an A1 or similar size frame.

Stefan Fierros grew up in Madrid,Spain.His parents,architect and classical dancer/artist left a strong artistic influence since childhood. He has lived around the world in Spain,Mexico,Paris and England. This has created a very mixed cultural background which has influenced his work. Working in Painting & Drawing his work is mainly Abstract but also often uses the subject of landscape and nature. His main interest is in 'the nature of the spiritual' and different 'states of being' he experiences in nature etc. He studied art at the Institute of Fine Art & Design in Southampton.England. His work can be found in private collections in the UK and abroad.
