About The Artwork
I bought this old stannous circular frame and then proceeded to decide what kind of image and technique would suit it. Graphite seemed like a natural choice given the metallic greys. And I thought the tiny feet (this was originally a portrait stand) resembled ears. So I turned the frame upside down and went for one of my favorite, most mysterious birds. The title refers to the splitting pupil on the right eye. Note: you'll be able to see a clip on the back of the frame. That was glued on by me. It seems firm, but I'd recommend having it welded or replaced for safety.
