Michael is a professional Artist, from teacher of Art at Central Sussex College to a continued love of art and teaching in the Dales. His exhibition history is from the south and London and he's worked on commissions for many years both portrait and landscape.

He first exhibited in London quite young aged 20 with the United society of Artists at the Westminster Gallery. He remained, and became a member and selector. He continued with many southern exhibitions and for 18 years before taking a break.

A while later he resumed work. He is now in the north of England and "the dales really make a glorious change.."

'It seems obvious to me that there was a design to be revealed when time, place or character would show it.
I don't doubt the great Creator, and when faith met with my artwork as a Christian all those years ago, I saw many truths that I always try and convey.

Some unusual and challenging commissions have come to life because of the expression of character. That is true of places and people.

When I first went to Switzerland I was in awe of the mountains, when in England of the hazy distances, and all this inspired me and still does'.
