ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an Early Period drawing of Stephen Mason. 'Steve' was a teacher that at one time I took courses with. He is a very good draftsman in ink, who has done a multitude of studies in ink in a very Tiepoloesque kind of manner. So this, in response to his academic works, was a study that I did of him one day in class, when he stepped in as the model.
