ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Created from aprox. 4 photographs and a touch of imagination. The subject was an abandoned farm truck on a dirt road near our farm in Marion County (the Ozarks), Arkansas. The barn was a falling down abandoned structure in the middle of the woods (once an open pasture, home site and corral). The cat was an old tom of ours called 'Ginger'. He passed in 2017........so, "thanks for the memories Ginger." The truck, the barn and the cat were brought together for a Moment in Time.

Born in 1961, the day before John F. Kennedy took the oath of office. My family is orginally from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I spent most of my childhood traveling in an Air Force family (Louisana, Guam Virginia, Texas, Colorado). Spent the last 3 years of high school on our family farm in the Ozarks of Arkansas. I joined the Air Force for 6 years (Great Britain, Colorado and Nebraska). I spent 3 years as an Air Force Security Policeman and 3 years an Imagery Interpreter. Joined the Arkansas Army National Guard upon leaving the Air Force, where I served in FDC (Fire Direction Control). I became a Chaplain Assistant and deployed with 1/142nd Field Artillery Brigade and served in combat during Desert Storm in 1991. I retired from the military in 1999. Currently, I live on my wife's family farm in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas.
