My process of creativity is an organically unfolding one. Each pattern, design and mark inspires the next and leads to the whole. I like not knowing what it is I am going to create and seeing it unfold. This allows me to really connect to myself and my true expression for my fullest potential to emerge. The work can be open to anything and I allow myself to let go so the work can be a free flowing energy of creativity. My best work can emerge because I get out of my own way and allow art to happen. I am always interested in the figure because I think it’s an interpretation of me on some level and different parts of myself. I think my art is about exploring that and also about exploring and capturing essence and beauty. I do love beautiful creations and designs. I find a sense of connection , purpose and meaning in beautiful creations. Creativity is everything. I am interested in hearing other people’s stories and interpretations about my work. It can be quite diverse and interesting. It is as much about their interpretation as it is my own. I think art is personal, not only for the creator but also for the viewer and I like that people can have a personal connection to a work, its hard not to really with being from different backgrounds , interests and experiences, we see in art a reflection of our own selves. Art is to enrich your life and I hope that’s what my art does for others. I hope my work inspires people and sparks their creativity, and provokes a thought, feeling or emotion they can reflect on. Art has depth to it, depth of our souls, our heart and emotions, Depth of ourselves , and that is beautiful. Seeing and experiencing Art that I love, for me is something that makes me feel good and I hope people feel good when they see my art because they see and feel something beautiful in them. In Art I find meaning.
