About The Artwork
Recently I have been taking things from my immediate surroundings as my subjects. Local parks, flowers, trees, landscapes, cityscapes and trees are some of the subjects for recent works. Study of a Choke Cherry Tree was chose for beautifully curved branches and abundance of fruit. There is something in a tree that calls to me as an artist to follow the lines of the branching and the colors and try to match the feeling of the tree on a surface.
