ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I started using bright and flourescent colours as a way to represent how LED lights, which have taken every house hold, street and landscape today. This drawing is evoking a relationship with two gestures and what lies in between them. I use flourescent yellow pigment on a gouache base to allow transparency as well as intensity. Yellow and pink are the background features playing harmoniosly with the green and blue shapes. This watercolour painting brings light and colour into a small room.
