Mixed Media (polypropylene paper, ink, acrylic, 24-carat gold leaf, varnish). Are we happy in the achieved paradise? Do we always choose the best? One chooses the eternal and unchanging light, the other seeks the unknown and distant darkness in the hope of finding something there. The constant striving of humanity, which may move history forward, but may also destroy all its achievements. Everyone makes their own choice - every minute.

Professional full-time artist. Born in 1987 in St. Petersburg. In my artworks, I explore the phenomenon of human identification (including self-identification) through the objects of the material world created or used by them. The study of the "person - artefacts" link led me to the series that depicts the surrounding objects as independent players involved in the story. In contrast to this solidly existing matter, I pay attention to the imperceptibly passing moments. Shadows, iridescent light, a cloud, a passing glance... For these subjects, I use a different style of painting, as blurred as the captured scenes. So, my practice is a journey between eternity and a moment, light and shadow, history and the present day, matter and illusion. It's an endless exploration of different spaces, the essence of things, and the depth of human minds.
