The Death Of Cleopatra Drawing

As you might guessed this drawing recording the moment of Cleopatra's death, which I tried to put emotions in it as much as I could to emphasize on the strangeness of the scene and its uniqueness, which represents a special case that rarely occurs in history and it is done by people who stand away from the crowed, which gives the scene a lot of surprise and attention, let me tell you that this is the first time I have done an art work with a pencil of this size (100 cm x 70 cm) taking into account the fully precision, where this work is the third in my art project after my paintings (taken by the miracle) and ( wake up Memphis), it took me about ten months of continuous work, it had a date for exhibition, basically, I was trying to control the values of shadow and light during the work, but before that I made a solid sketches because I wanted the design of the painting to come out in a certain way I imagined and felt it, and I wanted the painting to come out identical to this feelings which is hard to describe it, but I used to experience it every time I saw art works or even films about the era of the ancient Egyptians, perhaps you dear readers know what I mean and perhaps you also tested these feelings and you are familiar with it, of course, the biggest element that helped me to express this feeling is the engineering design of the place that contains the event, and the second element is the sea and its intruder appearance which I wanted to look like it is a mistake due to the air lifting the curtain, also the emergence of some plants that were famous for Egypt had an important part of this effect, of course we can not ignore the role of furniture and clothes and accessories, but those details of course do not have enough space to show themselves during the initial design of the work, so I took care of it later while I am drawing on the real size, as for the spirit of the artistic work and the relationship of the figures to each other, I think that I was somewhat influenced by the work of former art masters who dealt with this subject, but certainly I did not copy or I took from any other art work, but I have synthesized my own mix since the first moments of compositing this art work, where I was giving the work from my imagination and enthusiasm and what I learned as much as I could even come out this work with it is own voice and uniqueness, which I think that the consciously viewer can observe it very clearly, this work was a new challenge proud that I have accomplished and then it became another step on the road which I learned from it, and here I am preparing for a much harder experience where I will reproduce this work again in oil colors, and finally I would leave you with this art work in full details and I hope you enjoy watching it as I enjoyed drawing it .
