TINAY - A Journey Through Culture, Design & Art. Formerly an interior architectural designer, Tinay's work is a reflection of a life shaped by global experiences. Born into a family of diplomats, his early years were marked by constant travel - growing up as an expatriate across multiple continents. A journey that has taken him through the bustling streets of Cairo, the intellectual & historical richness of Boston, the dynamic architecture of Doha and many other cities & countries beyond. Today, he calls Sérignan, a charming town in the Occitanie region of Southern France his home. A Tri-lingual with a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from Suffolk University and a Bachelor’s in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology, both in Boston, Tinay has spent years honing his skills in interior architectural design. However, his passion also lies in the broader world of creativity. His design interests span from architecture to fashion, furniture, graphics and industrial design, all influenced by the rich cultural tapestry he has experienced firsthand. His exposure to diverse languages, histories, and cuisines fuels his artistic vision, turning each project into a story deeply rooted in multiculturalism. In recent years, Tinay's creative spirit has led him to pursue life as a full-time artist. His work is more than just a profession—it’s an expression of the many worlds he has lived in. From intricate interior spaces to bold artistic creations, his pieces evoke the unique blend of cultures that have shaped his life. When not in the studio, you can find Tinay experimenting with flavours in the kitchen, crafting dishes inspired by the many places he’s called home. His journey is not just about creating art, but about living creatively, embracing every aspect of his global life.
