Drawing: Ballpoint Pen, Ink, Black & White on Paper.
This series was inspired by a tragic event related to a unexpected death. Apart from the dead being an excellent person, he had, however, such a big ego as big as the size of the world.
At the funeral, I noticed that the number of people present did not correspond in any way to the expectations of the deceased, as well as the social type of those who came to accompany him to his last resting place.
So, I decided to undress the characters - because the deceased was extremely prudish - and invite outstanding characters to attend this new graphic burial.
I use a paper with a poor quality and whiteness, in a sign of humility, and the black and white, because it always goes well in a nice funeral.
The design using china ink pen, is applied directly on the paper without the use of a dye, everything else is a slow and laborious fill in black ink.
In a way, we can also say that this is another look at human nature and its unapproachable vanity.
