The Late Sun Drawing

I wanted to do an unusual portrait where the woman's face was in shadow instead of the light. I created this drawing using vine and willow charcoal, a variety of blending tools, charcoal pencils, and a kneadable eraser. This drawing is 11" wide by 13" tall. I used Koh-I-Noor Heavy Drawing paper, which is bright white, 185 GSM, and acid-free. This artwork has been sprayed with a clear fixative to help prevent the charcoal from smearing. It will ship flat, protected by a layer of glassine paper, sandwiched between two sheets of foam core board, sealed in a plastic bag for protection against water damage, then placed in a cardboard box. This drawing does not ship with any frame or hanging hardware.
