About The Artwork
ABOUT THE ART: This illustration was inspired by Link Meier, a vampire & Charlotte, mortal: tragic lovers & characters in Vampire Hunter D, a dark fantasy anime (directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri) & manga (illustrated by Hideyuki Kikuchi). ARTIST'S NOTES: I use natural charcoal-derived ink on standard industry art board. The illustration has a coat of fixative so lines & colors will remain sharp & vibrant over the years. I try to keep the quality of art high, but my prices low, so I don't spend much on framing. The frame was thrifted from a dollar store: it serves its purpose, but expect some imperfections. The frame matting is in origami or folded paper.
