About The Artwork

I was surprised how people come to the Louvre just to see the Mona Lisa. Of course this picture is beautiful, but there are other wonderful paintings by Leonardo hanging nearby and most people will look at the Mona Lisa and run on. It's amazing how manipulative people are, even in terms of their tastes, appreciation of art ... people behave like zombies ... it struck me so deeply. For me it was a slight shock when I saw masses of people with screaming young children, tense security guards who forbade the use of cameras ... It was a shock ... People led by advertising, like zombies ... This is a triumph of stupidity. Mona Lisa has become a symbol of culture, Mona Lisa even on hand cream ... :)))

Ramz Gadzh lives and works in Stockholm. I grew up in a southern republic of the Soviet Union and have always enjoyed drawing and drawing as a child. I am inspired by society, people and our world. When I was a young artist, I worked a lot in the portrait genre. In recent times, my inspiration is often drawn from society and from within. Symbolism is my favorite direction. With the symbols I can express myself in the best way. But I do not just appear in symbolism. My works can be varied from a landscape of impressionism style to political caricatures. Techniques are also different. I experiment a lot with techniques, mixing them together. However, I still use mainly oil. I use painting as a trace to tell, criticize, explain what I am unable to express in speech or writing. So that I tell in my art about love, life and death, good and evil, about the burdens of people and the burdens of modern society, about lying politicians, false values etc. In art, the most important thing to me is the idea. My favorite artist is Robert Banksy. But I am also inspired by Leonardo do Vinchi, Bosch, Klimt.
