A new body of work exploring the artists journey through life, similar to the native Aboriginal people of Australia. Carol explores and traces her steps using a line, in this instance a curved line. Lines can merge, smudge, be sharp/hard, soft and irregular, just like a life journey, when gathering experiences, joy or hardship.Zen vibes. The work is created on a wonderful textured hand made cotton rag paper, with lovely deckle edges so can be framed with or without a mount.

She produces both abstract and representational work, generally her paintings have an underlying sense of mystery and a mystical relationship with nature. They are often intuitive and soulful. Carol says: “After painting professionally for 33 years I still find it an extremely exciting and magical process. I try to get beyond ‘expressing’ myself, to allow a creative energy straight from nature and the cosmos. Happy and joyful, concentrating on uplifting the viewer and bringing a sense of joyful energy to everyday life.” PRIVATE COLLECTIONS: Uk, USA, Australia, France, Italy, Dubai and Israel.
