Born and raised in Ankara, Tuğçe Han Karakaya began her artistic journey at an early age, driven by her deep passion for painting. This enthusiasm led her to graduate from the Fine Arts Department of Ankara Anadolu Fine Arts High School and later pursue a degree in Painting at Dumlupınar University’s Faculty of Fine Arts. Her educational career continued as an atelier instructor in Yeşilüzümlü Art Village, where she conducted both group and individual art workshops. Immersed in a natural setting, these workshops enriched her artistic practice as well as her teaching experience. Currently residing in Muğla, Karakaya continues to share her knowledge and passion for art with younger generations as an art educator. Tuğçe Han Karakaya’s works explore the intricate relationships between nature, humans, and animals. Her creative process is inspired by spontaneously emerging images and forms that take shape in her mind, evolving into compositions where objects, animals, and abstract shapes harmoniously merge. Through patterns and textures, she aims to create a visual order that transcends absolute values. Each piece invites viewers to embark on a personal journey of discovery and interpretation, offering both a unique artistic experience and a space for reflection. Her artistic practice is rooted in a deep exploration of the aesthetic dimensions of nature and life. Karakaya’s works have been featured in internationally themed exhibitions and events, drawing attention with their blend of figurative and abstract approaches. By sharing her art across various platforms, she continues to reach a wide audience and to explore the intersection of nature, life, and aesthetics.
