This drawing depicts the dramatic entry point of a swimmer as they plunge into water. I hope it transports the viewer to swimming on summer days and gives a feeling of freedom. I've used a rag and an eraser to move the charcoal about on the paper creating an expressive sense of the bubbles created by the moment of impact. The drawing is made on heavyweight watercolour paper and is sold unframed.
