About The Artwork
When travelling water has a great attraction, I photograph it and sometimes I take with me samples of the water in many forms, for example on paper, as a kind of memory to take with me, or a copy of the space and time in which I experienced the water. The salt that the sea leaves behind in the Waterworks leaves a trace of form and space that is created by refraction of light from the environment. The drawing creates a kind of extension of the journey of the salt that remains in the space. ( ink, sea and gum arabicum on paper)
