My work is an attempt to isolate overlooked street views and buildings, that benefit aesthetically from scrutiny. Even buildings that only exist for the passerby in peripheral vision can still elicit a pleasurable feeling of familiarity when seen in isolation, more so when the viewer feels their recognition may be a rarity. I work in pen & ink, on watercolour paper.
