In my art I paint everything what I find inspiring or important. One of my painting series are artworks inspired by Japan and Japanese culture. Paintings shows issues from Japanese culture and the skills admired in Japan related to the simplicity of creation, meticulous execution and perfection of the final effect resulting from the combination of philosophy and technique, so characteristic of Japanese culture. My painting are also inspired by japanese woodblock prints especially by ukiyo-e. Second series are themes connected with woman issues. My "Rosy Powdered Stories" artwork series contains paintings and collages. The series tells about the world of femininity. It is an attempt to reach the depths of a woman's soul. The paintings refer to what is hidden behind the facade. The three-dimensionality of forms and the multitude of levels show a dual world, but the real story takes place outside the frame. The paintings express what is not visible, the content contained between words, unspoken and yet visible to a careful observer and constituting an excellent study of the female psyche. The aesthetics of the paintings, and especially the collages, refer to the advertisements published in the press in the 50s and 60s, when women were presented as eternally satisfied housewives, and to American pop art. My paintings and collages are a form of pastiche, exaggerated grotesque showing the perverse but oh so true world of women.
