My name is Anna Stavinskaya. I am an architect by training. I worked as an architect for more than 10 years, devoting my free time to painting. But my love of painting led me to leave architecture and several years now I have been a full time painter. I devote all my time to painting, to developing myself in this area. To a greater extent, I am a painter of the figurative genre. I love ballet since childhood, so ballerinas often become heroines of my paintings. One of my favorite areas is painting portraits. It fascinates me very much - to notice the peculiarities of a person's character, to express it through painting. I am also interested in reflecting on the topic of femininity, creating a special intriguing atmosphere in my paintings. I paint in oils, watercolors, pastels. My works are in private collections in Russia and Europe. I am a member of the National Pastel Society of Russia. I participate in group exhibitions of pastel, watercolors, oil painter.
