I grew up on the west coasts of Canada and England. I studied Illustration at Falmouth School of Art in the UK, and following college I began working with an agent illustrating children's books, and later worked as an artist and designer in the movie and television production. But there came a time when I needed a change of focus. I had always been fascinated by the natural flows of energy, nature and Eastern philosophy, so I left my commercial art career and studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and became an Acupuncturist. Now, I live in Portugal, and I enjoy creating beautiful artwork of the wonderful nature that I am very grateful to be surrounded by. Being by the ocean under a sunny sky inspires in me a sense of appreciation and wonder that I hope to recreate in my art. I want people to look at my artwork and be inspired and feel connected to the abundant beauty of the world around us.
