Contact us.My practice explores the universe as a mental and visual construction: a space shaped by perception, imagination, memory, and the systems we create to make the unknown intelligible.
I am interested in the elementary language through which we have learned to represent the cosmos, points, circles, lines, coordinates, orbits, grids, and interconnected systems. These forms appear objective and universal, yet they are also constructions through which we attempt to locate ourselves within something we cannot fully comprehend.
From these codes, I construct maps without a fixed territory. Within them, geometry coexists with organic forms, figures, fragments, and empty space. Lines cease to function solely as coordinates or trajectories and begin to behave as fibers: forming patterns, membranes, and structures that connect what initially appears to be separate.
This notion of a woven structure introduces a question about what exists between things. I imagine space not as an absolute void, but as a field crossed by invisible relationships, tensions, and connections. The weave can become a cosmic network, an organic structure, a membrane, or a mental construction, an intermediate matter that binds fragments together and allows a system to emerge.
My images do not seek to represent a specific universe, but to construct provisional cosmologies. Within them, a circle can become a planet, an orbit, a boundary, or an idea of wholeness; a point can suggest a star or an entire world; a line can describe a trajectory, establish a connection, or become part of a larger structure that holds the space together.
I am drawn to the point where order begins to emerge from chaos, where symmetry encounters chance, and where the forms we have created to understand the universe begin to reveal something about the way we inhabit it.
At the center of this exploration is a question of belonging. If our image of the universe is partially constructed through thought, then perhaps our idea of home can also be displaced, expanded, and reimagined. Drawing becomes a way of navigating this displacement: a method for constructing maps of places that exist somewhere between the external universe and the inner landscape of the mind.
I construct maps without a fixed territory, where lines become matter and connections begin to form a universe.
