In my work cycle 'Feelings of War' I try to process the emotions that the outbreak of war in Ukraine triggered in me. The terror of violence and the chaos of destruction are at odds with my artistic pursuit of harmony, transcendence and imagination. I don't want to illustrate the horrors of war, I want to develop symbols for the spiritual needs and to nourish the hope and longing for peace and reconciliation.
