"slow in the dark" Drawing

I have been painting and doing printmaking for several years . Currently I work in the entertainment industry as a scenic production artist. I am artist from northeast Los Angeles. I enjoy taking traditional forms and displacing them into abstracted enviornments and arranging them into complex precarious configurations. This displacement of representational imagery creates another distorted perception. I emphasize an expanded view of kinetic movement and rhythm throughout the work. As a sufferer of anxiety there is a nervousness in my approach to dividing space which a dense and suggests tension. I am fascinated by subtle elements entrapment and danger. Painting to me is a game that allows me unlimited combinations of camouflaged deception and mimicry.
