Abalone meets Turitella Installation

The ordered structure of this work is meant to show that it is possible to create from the individuality of each abalone and turitella, a harmonious whole to which each one makes its own particular contribution. Analogously, it could be understood as an invitation to people to come together in a homogeneous structure to form a new community, in which everyone takes his place without constricting the next, while still leaving him enough space to bring out his own peculiarities! Perhaps it is a utopian thought, nevertheless, it would be a way from the today's restlessness and hecticness to which many people are exposed nowadays because I assume that everyone of us needs and would like to take his firm and safe place in the life to be able to feel safe and secure and accepted! There is no fixed arrangement for my artworks, so you can change their order according to your personal taste and feeling! The dimensions refer to the artwork as a whole with each of the three parts measuring 35.43” x 11.81” x 1.97”.
