About The Artwork
„Natural stuff“ This contemporary tapestry is inspired by objects that appear in the sea and wash ashore. When the sun shines on remote beaches, decks, stone slabs, objects oxidize and take on a different, completely innovative look. They become so distorted that it is unrecognizable what their original purpose was. Due to the dependence on sunny intervals, imagined objects, such as fishing line, plastic bottle, sea grass and others, seem unreal. We wonder if the sun has done these objects a favor and turned them into aesthetic gems worth looking at and paying attention to. They give a feeling of untouchedness. In fact, they are only touched by the solar intervals and left to transform. Refraction of light, repetitions, intricacy, holes are just some of the elements that this tapestry conveys. Key words of the work - transformation, natural, sunny intervals, recycling. The work exudes naturalness. The "untidiness" in the composition, the free movement of the tapestry and the partial emphasis on one material in a certain part of the composition were deliberately emphasized. Setting mode: The work should be fastened with 4 silicone wires, on the wall. The light should be set so that it casts a shadow downwards and a smaller part on the sides (two or three spotlights, depending on their sizes) Shadow represents a large part of the work, its other side (transformation through time)

The main subject and idea of the artworks is the collaboration and combination of contemporary textile and monumental painting, which also represent the main inspiration throughout the whole process of creating. From the very beginning, my artistic creation was based on painting. During my undergraduate studies, I studied contemporary art segments in textiles, while the image always represented the basis for further ones work in the material. The pictures are a mirror of the knowledge gained in textiles, while the practice contemporary tapestry gives me complete freedom of expression. Attractiveness in interactive settings and stepping into three-dimensional forms were temporarily present during the studies, as the last works in the material show. Contemporary-traditional are the key words they create contrast in my performances. Works through the thread, as the basis of textiles offer a tradition in painting.
