This is a part of a series. I created this series in 2020 during the corona period. My main purpose was at that time to address, archive or highlight that tragic time. That's why I titled this series "Reflection of Time". I used the newspaper of that time period to highlight the time. Since historically newspaper archive and represents a time period or a moment. In this series I have tried to express different psychological views in a surrealistic way. I used different color grades as a psychic abstract form, because I think different types of color grades effects differently on us. During the corona period in our country, different regions were declared as different zones according to the corona infection. Such as red zone, green zone, yellow zone. I used different color grade as one kind of symbolic form that measure and express the tragedy of different news from the concept of the zone. However after cutting those form of newspaper that covered the death tragedy of COVID 19, I felt that the visual form could be used as a medium or as a language. Then I visualized those tragedies by filling those empty space with the red color and symbolized them as red zones. In chapter 3, I used some texture because of my weakness or attraction towards aesthetics. In chapter 4, I used some historical images and transformed those images to an artistic form or visual language by using acrylic color. Also I used lumped and twisted newspaper to archive the tragedy and archive the moment or period of time. I thought, that process could be also a symbolic or metaphoric language to express something.
