The Super Slide (MegaSlide) is the process of enlarging a small plastic slide. It 'made-layer of wood glue, sand, suggesting the rough side of megaslide painted with the diluent in multiple layer, before and behind white dark gray, with a perfect technical implementation, to suggest the texture of the slide / object and source of inspiration. The difference is that the bowels, the superslide does not contain a photograph / memory, but my work. This will suggest the idea of stopping time and immortallise my work. On the "frame" of wood on the left, I wrote, again through the canvas silkscreen, suggesting the digital writing, my name, the date and number of the work. The size outdoors is 71x71 cm, and the inner one is of 50x35cm.
In the case of Superslide'96 14 my work, "frozen in time" is represented by a colored drawing, about the theme of metamorphosis cow. On cardboard and glued on wooden board. My work reflects a passage that corresponds to a crossing space-time.
Architectural project and technical collaboration of the Dr. Arch. Pietro Bagli Pennacchiotti.
I created two installations Superslides, 5 large (142x142 cm) and 10 small (71x71), participating in exhibitions in museums and private galleries: solo exhibition "Metamorphosis paths" at the Museum MAGGI'900 (Bologna), shows ARTAE in the deconsecrated Church St. Carpoforo in Milan, Palazzo degli Alessandri in Viterbo, Yanika gallery in Rome etc. I won the "Silver Plaque" at the International Festival of Contemporary Art at the Diocesan Museum of Sulmona (Abruzzo).
Starting from the figurative, I realized the two-dimensional works in which the subject was the human body and animals, studied from both 'external from' internal, built, cut, destroyed and rebuilt in a different form allusive and informal.
Continuing on the path of my metamorphosis, some details of the "anatomical tables" are magnified as the microscope, looking more and more expansion and definition of objects and space: the Megaslides and the Megabox.
The "Superslides" (Megadiapositive) are part of the theme of metamorphosis, the theme of the entire course of my work to date. They represent for me a good time when the idea happily embraces a support material that gathers all my practical skills (drawing, painting, lithography, screen printing, photography, engraving on wood, linoleum, metal, glass, Plexiglas and experiences sculptural and craft) to make a team work together with the architect, the blacksmith and carpenter.
The megaoobject does not reproduce reality.
After processing the material and ideal follow the poetic moment, Metamorphosis becomes a metaphor,
For my work has always been important, as well as the time of the discovery of thought, then, of the idea, including technical support properly and securely made.
This ambivalence which opens the way of experimentation has always helped me to choose the most rigorous form to express my message.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

THE WORK IS MADE WITH WITH MATERIALS OF THE BEST QUALITY, DURABLE VIDEO (present): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7pPRIDBq_w Catalog online: ?fbclid=IwAR29sf-0GF4I1VjuqqXQMxiHlewrT7Pmh88uNj2AlfUaKyh7D9uYgAW9chE#page/1 Film TVRI: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZG_JsVVG94 They are part of my work on the perception of “time”. In this series of works, exhibited both as installations and individually, I was inspired by the "slide" object. The operation is that of enlarging the small object of daily use. The megaobject does not reproduce reality. The SUPERSLIDE is not a facsimile, as the internal image is not transparent and does not reproduce an instantaneous moment of life, but contains my work. The idea is to stop/block in time a dated fragment of my work path, such as: plant spatial structures magnified as if under a microscope, the structure of the air, light/dark, made in silk-screen paint hand-printed in layers, not with the aim of creating a multiple, but "unique pieces", as unrepeatable moments; or even one of my drawings, a lithograph with metamorphosis, a painting or a collage, all works on paper glued to wooden boards. They are inserted in "mega frames" that reproduce the slides, built in wood, using sand to allude to the rough surface and with particular care throughout the realization, to make the work perfect, and therefore close to the real object. On the part where the date of the slide was usually written, I entered my surname and a number which shows, for the large SUPERSLIDES (142 x 142 cm), the reference year; instead for the series of small SUPERSLIDES (71 x 71 cm) - a "randomised" number. The metamorphosis becomes a metaphor. Architectural project and technical collaboration of the Arch. Pietro Bagli Pennacchiotti.
