Art Description

Installation: Fabric, Fiber, Found Objects, Paint, Paper on Paper, Plastic, Soft (Yarn, Cotton, Fabric), Other.

Swept Away at Midnight is one of 3 sculptural, mixed media works inspired by the turmoil of winds whipping, things tumbling and the wonderful combinations of unlikely objects coming together as they blow through space. It is also a metaphor for the turmoil of thoughts combining and changing simultaneously through time. This work suspends partially from 4 points - from the ceiling and different places on the wall. It can be hung differently in varying spaces. It is made of transparent mesh, drawings, repurposed materials and paint. It is a one of a kind creation.
