About The Artwork

My quest in this adventurous project is to transform the animal and human relationship from damaging suppression to one of mutual reciprocity and harmony with the natural world. This is an inner search as much as it is a scientific one. It’s mythic and archetypal, it is the very stuff of our genes, after all humans are family to the animal kingdom. What is Nature? Nature is defined as an all encompassing genre of the plastics, rubbers, coal, oil and natural gas along with minerals and plants. Technology too is another kingdom in our evolutionary whole. Industry and mechanization has magnificently made the earth’s resources provide in unstoppable ways. However, I see the earth as valuable beyond the resources it provides human life. The earth isn’t just useful it has rights like we do. The environmental crisis doesn't have me ‘out there’ solving an impossible dilemma, it has me dwelling in an appreciation for well-being and as a sibling to the diversity of life. https://vimeo.com/289399531
