A New Me Artwork

This painting features unique textures on the canvas. I was inspired to create this piece from studying patterns on the earth's surfaces, and colors that I see on the ground and walls after years of wear. My inspiration comes from the extensive traveling I do around Latin America and the Caribbean, particularly. I am also inspired by fashion and textiles. I use a unique layering technique in my process. I start with unique textures, then I add layers of acrylic, ink, spray paint, pastel, acrylic markers, oil pastel, oil, and oil bar. I create a lot of my own colors through blending extensively. This piece is stretched and ready to hang. If you would like to me to add a frame for an extra fee, that is possible.
