Olga Schellenberg was born in 1976 in Tallinn, Estonia. From a young age, she displayed a deep passion for creativity—drawing, sewing, and transforming ideas into tangible forms. Her school years were filled with artistic pursuits, as she eagerly participated in various creative events. In 2000, she earned a *bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy from Tallinn University and soon began working as a coordinator of creative activities for teenagers, fostering their artistic expression and imagination. Her artistic journey took a new direction in 2012, when she graduated from Tallinna Vanalinna Kunstikool (Tallinn Old Town Art School) For her final project, she created an exquisite triptych in tapestry art, inspired by the intricate patterns of African ornamentation—a theme that has since remained central to her work. That same year, Olga moved to Groningen, the Netherlands, where she pursued art professionally. She founded Art Studio Schell, an art school for children, alongside a dedicated creative space for adults. Over the next 12 years, her students participated in prestigious International art competitions, earning accolades and recognition for their talent. Beyond teaching, Olga conducted inspirational workshops for adults, not only imparting academic art fundamentals but also highlighting the importance of creativity as a meditative and expressive process. She showcased her work in exhibitions, participated in competitions, and experimented with diverse artistic techniques. A defining moment in her career was her participation in the Pintar Rapido art competition in Amsterdam (2015), where she connected with fellow artists, exchanging inspiration and ideas. Over the years, Olga has created countless one-of-a-kind souvenirs and postcards, while continuously sharing her love for art through workshops open to all. In 2024, she embarked on a new artistic chapter, relocating to Guadeloupe, where she continues to explore, create, and find inspiration in the island’s vibrant landscapes and culture.
