This series of works not only seeks to illuminate the darkness of ignorance but also aspires to be a beacon of tolerance and a tribute to the respect for the diverse traditions that form the mosaic of humanity.Through each piece, the series invites viewers on an introspective journey, challenging them to look beyond the stereotypes that have clouded the perception of the Islamic community. The works portray the intrinsic dignity, unassuming beauty, and rich depth of Islamic culture, which is often overshadowed by one-dimensional narratives.A reminder that, although our beliefs may differ, the threads that bind us as human beings are far stronger and more enduring. This work is inspired by the paradox of intolerance towards freedom of worship in the name of freedom itself. It aims to highlight that the essence of people is the same, whether they wear a veil or not. We all want to be seen, not for our physical appearance, but for our true selves. The chosen medium is ideal for its flexibility, allowing the idea of shedding layers of intolerance that prevent us from seeing beyond superficial differences to be conveyed clearly.
